Catma: A Story of Growth and Passion for Security
It began its activities in the 1980s as a workshop in the Obrera neighborhood of what is now Mexico City. It was acquired by its current owners in early 2008, who, in their passion for manufacturing high-quality safes, committed to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction.
In 2014, it ceased to operate as a sole proprietorship to become a corporation. This milestone marked the beginning of a new stage of growth and development, with the implementation of more efficient processes and the expansion of the product range.
In 2017, the company moved to a 4,000-square-meter plant in Ecatepec, which increased its production capacity and improved the quality of its products.
